Objectives
We love to get stuck into a juicy startup project, so Grate Catering fitted that bill perfectly. The private dining and events company needed playful and eye-catching marketing materials to show off their superb culinary skills and personality. Needless to say that we couldn't wait to get started.
Tasked with full brand design and strategy, Starfish went to work on Grate's image. Often offering firepit events along with private dining, Grate required something a little rustic, while maintaining an element of sophistication.

Outcomes
Playing on the double-meaning name, we implemented a grater pattern that ran across all branded items, including brochures, advertising and apparel.
For each part of the business, we developed icons and illustrations, while the bold colour palette and comprehensive design guidelines tied the visuals together.
